Course Description
An introduction to the IPS e.max Press system with practical workshop about IPS e.max Press Impulse (Opal and Value) and the IPS e.max Press Abutment
Solutions.
IPS e.max Ceram is a low-fusing, nano-fluorapatite glass-ceramic. Apatite crystals in the nanometre range provide a unique combination of translucency,
brightness and opalescence. Its easy handling properties and aesthetic potential make working with this material an extraordinary experience.
Patients and dentists increasingly demand all-ceramic or metal-free restorations which cannot be distinguished from natural teeth. The challenge is to mimic
natural aesthetics and shading at the highest level. Therefore, this course focuses on establishing a customised layering concept for the IPS e.max Ceram
veneering ceramic.
Syllabus
IPS e.max Press Impulse Value
- Anterior crown and veneer
- Cut-back technique
- Customised layering concept with IPS e.max Ceram
- Predictable shade result with natural die material
